AUGUSTA, Ga. - Thelma Elizabeth Hathaway, 82, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 24, 2009 in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Marcus Holt officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Hathaway was preceded in death by her husband, Elton L. Hathaway. She is survived by two daughters, Karen H. Pittman and her husband L. Todd Pittman of London, England, Peggy Ann Edwards of Knoxville, Tennessee; a son, B. J. Hathaway, Sr. and his wife Patricia Hathaway of Augusta; a sister, Joanne Stevens of Seattle, Washington; four grandchildren, Ricky Luther, Sherri Maynard, B. J. Hathaway, Jr., Ben Hathaway and four great grandchildren, Stephanie Luther, Ricky Luther, Jr., Bailey Maynard and Emerald Hathaway.
