EASTMAN, Ga. - Christine Yancey Bohannon, age 81 of Macon died Monday, January 19, 2009. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in the chapel of Hardy- Towns Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. She is survived by daughters, Bertha Snyder of Eastman and Brenda Betsill (Rickey) of Orangeburg, S.C.; sons, Roy Bohannon (Bonnie) of Martinez, Ga. and Lonnie Bohannon (Margaret) of North Augusta, S.C.; sisters, Aliene Y. Warchak of Macon, Nettie R. Justice of Augusta, Velma Shouse of Eastman; brothers, George Yancey and Reuben Yancey of Eastman; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Grady Bohannon , son, Robert Bohannon , daughter, Virginia Jane Selph, and two grandchildren.
