AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. James Brooks of Wharton Drive, entered into rest Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the University Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are two daughters, Thomasina Brooks and Eloise Brooks Jones both of Augusta; three sons, James Earl Brooks, Clarence (Elizabeth) Jones, Augusta, and Levorn (Evon) Brooks, Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Gladys Robinson; brother, Henry C. (Rosemary) Brooks, Sr., both of Augusta; two sisters-in-law, Lee Ellen Douse and Willie Mae Douse both of Augusta; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
