GIBSON, Ga. - Mr. Homer "Knotty" McGraw, 83, of Beall Springs Rd., entered into rest Monday, January 19, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheppard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jacky Downs officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Augusta with Rev. David Jones officiating the committal service. Mr. McGraw was a native of Jefferson Co. and a Navy veteran. He is survived by a son, Larry (Yvonne) McGraw of Avera; three daughters, Debrah (Pete) Chalker of Gibson, Tammy (Joe) Cash of Gibson, and Robin McGraw of Gibson; two sisters, Ruth Goodbread of Augusta and Margie Brown of Mich.; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Monnell Hobbs McGraw. Pallbearers are Matthew Chalker, Jason Cash, Niel Griswell, Doug Price, and Rick Rios.
