CLEARWATER, S.C. - Mrs. Mary Emma Edney, 64, of Diamond Street, entered into rest January 19, 2009 at University Hospital. The remains will be conveyed to T. J. Baker Funeral Home, Reading, Pa. Mrs. Edney, a native of Manchester, Ga., was a member of Young Storm Branch Baptist Church. She was a Detention Officer for Aiken County. Survivors include her husband, William Edney, Clearwater, S.C.; a daughter, Leslie Ann Edney, Beech Island, S.C.; a son, Marcus Tyree Edney, Clearwater, S.C.; a stepson, Maurice (Monique) McCain, North Augusta; four sisters, Barbara Jean Hall, Silver Spring, Md., Elaine Ellison, Pottstown, Pa., Patricia Ellison and Joan Ellison, Reading, Pa.; a brother, Behejahe Ellison, Reading, Pa.; two step-grandchildren, Amber and Madison McCain; a host of other relatives and friends.
