AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Elnora Johnson Thomas, of Hampton Circle, entered into rest Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the University Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are four daughters, Brenda (Harold) Thomas Lester, Cynthia Ellis, Augusta, Melody (Maurice) Thomas Woodward, Kennesaw, Ga., Elaine (Steve) Johnson Li, Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons, Stanley Thomas, Larry Thomas, George (Gwendolyn) Payne, Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Pennie Johnson, Clarice Haltom, Eva Hollis, Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Guy Johnson, Bennett Johnson, Jr., Dallas, Texas; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
