Jimmy Butler (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Memorial services for Mr. James O. "Jimmy" Butler, 59,of North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest January 19, 2009, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock in Grace United Methodist Church. Rev. Ken Phelps and Chaplain Tom H. Rogers officiating. Mr. Butler was a lifelong resident of North Augusta and a member of the United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a North Augusta Volunteer Fire Fighter with 33 years of service, a retired Maintenance Supervisor with the City of North Augusta Parks and Recreation Department and a staff member at Grace United Methodist Church with Security. Mr. Butler was the son of the late George M. and Lenora Butler, Sr. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Mary Frances Butler; a daughter and son-in-law, Morgan and Dave Brinkerhoff, North Augusta; a brother and sister-in- law, Miller and Gail Butler, North Augusta. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. The family will be at the residence of Miller and Gail Butler, 10 Woodspring Court, North Augusta, SC.
