HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Leonard Clayton Dekle, Jr., 52, entered into rest Friday, January 16, 2009 at Heartland Hospice in Augusta. He was a resident of Gracewood State School and Hospital for 50 years. Leonard was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Keith Dekle. Funeral services will be 2:00p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Road Chapel with Rev. Jim Hyder officiating. Burial will be private. He is survived by father and stepmother, Leonard C. and Carol Dekle of Hephzibah, GA; sisters, Stephanie Bennett of Guyton, GA, Bonnie Rutherford of Sylvester, GA, and Robbie Dupree of Sylvester, GA; Brother, Ron Dekle of Evans, GA; step sisters, Clorette Riddle of Hephzibah, GA and Anna Barry of Augusta, GA.
