AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Nell Ray Prince, 83, died peacefully at home Thursday, January 15, 2009. She was the best wife and mother, as well as the greatest friend ever. Memorial services will be held 2:00p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home Columbia Road Chapel with Revs. Hayward Knight and Bill Adams officiating. Mrs. Prince is survived by her husband of 62 years, Col. Robert A. Prince; children, Linda P. and Henry Williams of St. Mary's, GA, Dr. Robert H. and Dr. Amber T. Prince of Armuchee, GA, Rev. Allison S. and Joyce Prince of Mt. Airy, NC, Christopher A. and Maria Prince of Eads, TN, Judge John M. and Shaunna Prince of Ft. Mitchell, KY, and adopted daughter, Ethel Morris of Appling, GA. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
