Gladys Johnson (BEECH ISLAND, S.C.)

BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Graveside Services for Mrs. Gladys Johnson, 89, of Beech Island, S.C., who entered into rest, January 16, 2009, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Gary Davidson officiating. Mrs. Johnson was a native of San Jose, Calif., having made Beech Island her home for the past 55 years. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Johnson was a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton N. Johnson and two children, Michael R. Johnson and Judith Leroy. Survivors include a daughter, Gail Davidson, North Augusta; two sons, Dennis W. Johnson, Augusta and Christopher K. Johnson, Beech Island; Nine Grandchildren; Sixteen Great-grandchildren; and One Great-great grandchild.
