- Because of a reporter's error, an article on the front page of Friday's edition of The Augusta Chronicle incorrectly stated who created the Commission for School Board Excellence. It was created by the state Board of Education. Also, the commission was created in response to problems at several school boards in Georgia, not one specific board.
- Because of a production error, the grid for Thursday's TV programming was printed in Friday's paper.
