HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Annie Lois Green of Sheffield Ct., entered into rest Monday, January 5, 2009 at Doctors Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Janu- ary 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Jenkins Memorial C.M.E. Church with Rev. Gene Dean officiating. Burial will be in Southview Annex Cemetery, LaGrange, Ga. She was a native of LaGrange, Ga., and was well known for her missionary service to the sick and shut-ins at Greater Cleaves Memorial C.M.E., Quayle C.M.E., and other circuit church where they served as a Pastor Team for founding two United Methodist Women Units and Preacher's Wife Association; outstanding abilities as a pre-school administrator and owner of an infant care service, District Leader of Cub Scouts and Teacher of Arts and Crafts, a Licensed Tailor; In Dayton, Ohio, she helped to found the Non Parail Charity Club and the Nurses Corps at Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church. Survivors are her husband, Rev. Timothy R. Green, Sr.; one son, Rev. Timothy R. (Beatrice) Green, Jr., Hephzibah; one daughter, Rev. Dr. Patricia Ann Green, Milan, Mich.; one brother, Dea. John Henry (Willie Ruth) Gates, Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; aunt, Louise MacDowell, LaGrange, Ga.; devoted niece, Eva Lois (Jimmie) Lawrence, Dayton, Ohio; devoted family friend, Lugenia Williams, Falls Church, Va.; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
