W. Ellis Carroll (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mr. William Ellis "Papee" Carroll, Sr., 91, of Thompson Avenue, North Augusta, SC, who enter- ed into rest January 5, 2009, will be conducted this Friday morning at 11 o'clock from the Central Church of Christ. Mr. Scott Patterson officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park. Mr. Carroll was a native of Florence, Alabama, having made North Augusta his home for the past 58 years. He was a member of Central Church of Christ and retired from the Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Local #150. Mr. Carroll was the husband of the late Mrs. Mamie L. Carroll and the late Mrs. Florence R. Carroll. Survivors include his daughter, Bobbie Wilson, Belvedere; a son and daughter-in-law, William & June Carroll, Jr., Lithonia, GA; eight grandchildren, Wayne Wilson, David Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Julie Davis, Celia Balis, Patti Jackson, Markie Carroll and Billy Carroll; seventeen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be great-grandsons, Alex Wilson, Adam Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Jr., Tyler Wilson, Christopher Wilson, James Davis, Brandon Balis, Tyler Balis, Austin Jackson & Ellis Carroll. Pallbearers will be Wayne Wilson, David Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Billy Carroll, Danny Jackson & Virgil Wilkerson.
