WAXHAW, N.C. - Allen, 56, had made Waxhaw, NC, his home for many years. He was born December 16, 1952 in Augusta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by three sons, Geoffrey, Jeremy (Alysia), and Jonathan; two grandsons, Trevor and Tristin Creed and wife, Sherrie, all of Waxhaw, NC; one sister, Jackie Ligon (Lang) of Charlotte, NC; 4 nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as lots of friends. He will be missed greatly. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2009 with visitation from 11:30-12:45 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
