GLOVERVILLE, S.C. - Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, Ms. Earline Leopard Hamlet, age 78, of Gloverville, S.C., beloved wife for 64 years to Lloyd Hamlet, Jr., and daughter of the late Frank Z. Leopard and the late Sybil Toole Leopard. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Genni (Jimmy) Hughes of Easley, S.C., brothers; Robert Leopard of Warrenville, Harold (Linda) Leopard of Gloverville, Frank Z. 'Buddy' Leopard of Illinois and Jerry (Patrell) Leopard of Gloverville, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was born in Stiefeltown, S.C. and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Graniteville Company. She was a loving wife and grandmother. Next to her family, there came her love for animals; especially her little dog, Sissy and of course, her many cats. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched but there is a consolation in knowing that life for her has not ended, but only begun in her Heavenly home where she is now rejoicing with her daughter, Shirley Smith, who preceded her in death. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Ronnie Kraps, Durwood Stubbs, Edward Inabinet, Tim Leopard, Kenny Leopard and James Wise. The family will receive friends at her niece's (Louise Inabinet) residence on Sweetbay Circle in Warrenville or Saturday evening, January 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Napier Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, S.C. 29829.
