I JUST WANTED to rant about the scam Richmond County is running to finance all of its little projects. It is fining people excessive amounts on traffic tickets -- $280 for an improper left turn is outrageous.
I DON'T MIND paying more into the current and only bus system, but cutting out Saturday when we already have no Sunday service is insane! We need the buses! A lot of us cannot work or properly grocery shop without it!
I'M SO SICK of people trying to make the police sound like the bad guys here.
I THINK IT'S TIME we protest in the streets about teen pregnancy, not to mention drugs on the streets, and, oh yeah, how angry I am that so many kids can't read or write because their parents don't make them go to school to learn.
I REALLY WISH the owners of the Lynx could have at least given the season ticket holders an apology or returned money. We supported you for 11 years. You owe that much to us.
RAVE FOR OBAMA not selecting any Southerners for his cabinet. Carter did, remember?
RANT FOR COLUMBIA COUNTY traffic planners: The intersection at Washington and Gibbs roads is dangerous. The left turn signal needs to be changed to a left on light signal only. There have been many accidents at this location.
BERNARD MADOFF CAME by his name honestly. He made off with everything he could get a hold of.
I JUST LEFT a department store here in Richmond County, and if I was an English teacher in the school system here I would be embarrassed by the way these young people talk. It's a disgrace.
RANT FOR Cynthia McKinney bringing supplies to Palestine. I think that's traitorous, and I think people ought to be investigating what she's into.
I JUST WANT to let people know that I love my president, and I wish that he would've caught one of those shoes and thrown it back at that thug.
RANT FOR THE CHRONICLE on New Year's Eve. What a disgrace on the front page with your story on drinking. Alcohol is just as much a drug as cocaine.
