Louise Pye (LYONS, Ga.)

LYONS, Ga. - Mrs. Louise Pye, age 71, of Lyons, Ga., died Friday, January 02, 2009. She was a native of Edgeville, S.C., living most of her life in the Lyons area. Mrs. Pye had worked with the Tooms County Manufacturing Company and Oxford Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Pye was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lyons. Mrs. Pye was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Lee and Virgina Bryan; a daughter, Violet Salter; and a son Bryan Case. She is survived by her husband, Jim H. Pye of Lyons, Ga.; two sons, Kenneth Case of Charleston, S.C. and Chesley Pye of Loganville, Ga.; two daughters, Jennie Clark of Ward, S.C. and Kathy Summersill of Nicholls, Ga.; three sisters, Vivian Reece of Edgefield, S.C., Oena Dorn, Barstow, Calif., and Beatrice Eubank of Edgefield, S.C. Also surviving: 13 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Pye will be Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Jones-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dannie Williams will officiate. The interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be Tuesday, January 6, 2009 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Jones-Stewart Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
