NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - The Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Howard M. Borst, 88, of Lake Marion Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest January 5, 2009, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 12:15 from The Church of The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Father Timothy C. Donahue celebrant. Interment in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. Mr. Borst was a native of Coxsackle, NY, a former resident of Florida, having made North Augusta his home for the past six months. He was a communicant of The Church of The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a retired Purchasing Agent with Central Hudson Gas and Electric. Mr. Borst was the husband of the late Mrs. Betty Borst. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Faith Ann Borst, North Augusta; a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Bryan Bartleson, Sodus, NY; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
