Joseph Martin would call the Rosser brothers the Dynamic Duo, but there's a problem with that nickname.
"Both of them are Batman," Victory Christian School's basketball coach said of twin brothers Addison and Austin Rosser, who are juniors.
Austin has played basketball longer than his brother, starting about 10 years ago. Addison preferred baseball.
"Our whole family plays baseball," said Addison, who started playing basketball about five years ago.
Austin was the stronger of the two players until he injured his knee last spring, said Mr. Martin.
Now, he said, "Austin is trying to keep up with Addison."
So far on the season, the Vikings have a record of 7-0. In their most recent game, on Dec. 19, the Vikings defeated William Thomas 67-61, and Addison scored 12 points.
The brothers play well together.
"Addison is a defensive nightmare. Austin has a lot of ball control. He's a leadership person. They both can play the same positions; both are a huge part of this team," said Mr. Martin.
While the brothers enjoy the sport, each has his own reason.
Austin said he feels he can express himself on the court while Addison said he enjoys the adrenaline rush.
The brothers have one goal for this season.
"We want to be state champs," said Austin.
