PASO, Texas - Mr. Alton James, formerly of Washington County, died in El Paso, Texas, December 24, 2008. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. from Henderson Grove A.M.E. Church, Sandersville, Ga., with Rev. Calvin Hatcher officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
