MARTINEZ, Ga. - Graveside Services for Mrs. Grace Jackson Claxton, 85, of Pinehurst Drive, Martinez, GA, who entered into rest January 1, 2009, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Riddleville, GA. Rev. M. D. Cabe officiating. Mrs. Claxton was a native of Riddleville, GA, having made Martinez her home for the past 43 years. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Woodmen of the World for 51 years. Mrs. Chalkstone was wife of the late Mr. Billy M. Claxton. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Rilla Jackson, Bath; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bunnie and David Couey, Macon, GA and Shelbie and Glynn Paschall, Beech Island; several nieces and nephews; an aunt, Madie Waller, Bath. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5 until 7 and Sunday afternoon at the New Bethel Baptist Church from one until the hour of the service.
