HARLEM, Ga. - Senior Airman Judson Farrar, 22, son of Joseph and Irene Farrar, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in Burke County. Funeral services with full military honors will be held Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 2:00PM in the Harlem United Methodist Church with the Reverend Tom Drake officiating. Mr. Farrar was born in Augusta, Georgia and a resident of Harlem. He was a 2005 graduate of Harlem High School. He joined the Air Force in 2005, served in Iraq and was currently stationed at Herbert Air Force Field in Florida. Survivors include his parents, Irene and Joseph Farrar, Harlem; one brother, Andrew (Jennifer) Farrar, Harlem; one sister Bianca Turner, Trenton, SC; Stepbrothers, Scott Farrar, Tim (Mandrell) Farrar and William Farrar all of N. Augusta, SC; William Farrar and Stepsister, Angie (Jake) Jones, N. Augusta, SC. Mr. Farrar was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lucinda Scadding and paternal grandmother, Betty Farrar. Additional survivors include aunts, Barbara Scaddng, Darlene Hunt and Nancy Daniel and uncle, Lester Scadding. Visitation will be from 12:00PM to 1:30PM the day of the service.
