GREER, S.C. - Henrietta Bass Jenkins, 66, of 318 Old Boiling Springs Road, died December 29, 2008 at her home. A native of Greenville County, daughter of Pallie Ford Bass of Greenville and the late Henry R. Bass, she was a dietician for Allen Bennett Hospital, a realtor of residential sales, and a homemaker. She was recognized annually for work in residential sales for many years and was responsible for establishing the Upstate Chapter of the S.C. Kidney Foundation. Mrs. Jenkins was a longtime member of Taylors First Baptist Church and attended Cross Roads Baptist Church. Also surviving are her husband, R. Patrick Jenkins of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Case and Lou Ann Jenkins of Simpsonville; a sister, Karen Bigger of Greenville; and two grandchildren, Austin and Taylor. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Cross Roads Baptist Church, 705 Anderson Ridge Road, Greer, S.C., conducted by Rev. Michael Sheehan. The committal service will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park for the family. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Friday at Cross Roads Baptist Church. The family is at the home.
