Frances Thompson Huff (GIBSON, Ga.)

GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Frances Thompson Huff, 68, the beloved wife of the late Shelton Huff and the daughter of the late Eddie Lee Thompson and Eva Kitchens Thompson, entered into rest Tuesday December 30, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday January 1, 2009 at James Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Lamb officiating. Family will receive friends December 31, 2008 Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wrens Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Huff was a member of Gibson Church of God. Mrs. Huff was retired of 35 years at Air Balance. Survivors include he children, Shelton (Kathy) Huff Jr., Stapleton Ga., Michael Huff 11, Stapleton Ga., Donna (Chris) Hooks, Warrenville, S.C., Andy (Betty) Huff, Stapleton Ga., Sheila (Wayne) Scarber, Gibson Ga. and Tammy (Wells) McCorkle, Matthews Ga.; two sister, Ann (Hiram) Milburn, Stapleton Ga. and June (Durham) Milburn, Edgehill Ga. fourteen grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mason McCorkle, Kevin Kitchens, Jason Milburn, Billy Huff, David Owens, Michael Pruitt and George Arrington.
