'I Am ... Sasha Fierce'

MY THOUGHTS: This album might be her best. While working on the record, Ms. Knowles said that she wanted to reveal her alter ego, Sasha, to her fans. A few hit songs include Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), If I Were a Boy, and Diva.

The songs on this album are the perfect balance between more commercialized music and more traditional and classic R&B.

'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian'

SUMMARY: When the Pevensie children again travel to the magical world of Narnia, they find that thousands of years have passed. New humans, the Telmarines, have taken over, and almost eradicated the talking animals of Narnia.

Prince Caspian, the designated heir of the Telmarines, has been deposed of by a greedy uncle who wishes the throne for himself. The Pevensie children find Caspian and fight with him to return Narnia to its rightful owners, the Narnians.

MY THOUGHTS: One of the most shocking features of the movie was the violence, which I did not expect in a PG movie. There was no blood or gore, but people were being killed everywhere. There are at least 30 minutes of battle footage in the movie.

Even though the directors took a few liberties by combining parts of the book versions of Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the result was a fantastic, thrilling movie with some Christian motifs added. I recommend this as a family movie or to anyone who enjoyed reading the series of books by C.S. Lewis.
