GROVETOWN, Ga. - Retired Master Sergeant Willie Ray Aiken, 74, husband of the late Betty Joyce Aiken, entered into rest December 26, 2008, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 in the Bellevue Memorial Garden Chapel. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens, near Grovetown, Ga., with full military honors. Mr. Aiken, a native of Anderson, SC, was retired from the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War and Vietnam. He was the recipient of numerous military awards. Survivors include one daughter Kathy Adkins (Johnnie) of Grovetown; two brothers, John J. Aiken, and Charles Aiken (Peggy), of Anderson, SC; and one sister Mildred King, Loganville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Joyce Aiken, one brother Melvin Aiken, and grandson Alex Inglett.
