MARTINEZ, Ga., - Entered into rest December 24, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Dorothy Beck Meyer, 94, wife of the late Mr. Julian Edward Meyer. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery. Mrs. Meyer was born in South, Ga. She was a retired Dietician and past President of the Georgia Food Service. She was a care giver for many years. Mrs. Meyer was a member of Warren Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School Class for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include: a daughter, Louise Cliett, Martinez, Ga.; two grandchildren, James Edward Cliett and Leonard Wade Cliett; two great grandchildren, Anthony Wade Cliett, Holly Brianna Jones; other relatives, Carlos and Bim Meyer, Earl and Beverly Meyer, Nell Meyer, Billy Meyer; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are: Cris Cliett, Lin Cliett, Brian Cates, Lee Harris, James Paschall, Jimmy Adams.
