EVANS, Ga. - Lorraine Goergen Dunlevy, 78, entered into rest Dec. 21, 2008. She was a resident of Washington Commons in Evans, Ga. She was preceded in death by William L. Dunlevy, her husband of 54 years, who died in 2006. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Luanne and Allen Emanuel of Ft. Calhoun, Neb. and Melissa and Clay Hall of Grovetown, Ga.; two sisters, Delores Bianco of Jacksonville, Fla. and Brenda Dombrowski of Foley, Ala.; and three grandchildren, Sara Lierman of Blair, Neb., and Hollis Wells and Henry Hall of Grovetown, Ga. Following her service as a nurse in the Navy Medical Corps, she practiced pediatric nursing in Jacksonville, Fla. and Columbus, Ga. Mrs. Dunlevy and her husband Bill moved to Dodge, Neb. in 1981 and operated the Merry Martini for 14 years before retiring to Foley, Ala., where she was active in the arts community and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. After her husband died, she moved to Evans, Ga., where she was a member of The Church of Our Savior. A memorial service will be held Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Foley, Ala., with burial to follow at 2 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Fla.
