AVERA, Ga. - Mrs. Josephine L. Miller, 94, entered into rest December 16, 2008 at Jefferson County Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Macon Miller and the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruby Harden McWatty. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, December 18, 2008, at Walden United Methodist Church Cemetery with Griffin Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30AM until 1:00PM at James Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and loving mother. She was the oldest living member of Walden U.M.C. Survivors include a son, Donnie Miller, Augusta; a daughter, Maxine Raley, Avera; and a granddaughter, Kristy Miller, Atlanta. Pallbearers will be Jimmy McWatty, Jay McWatty, Brad Martin, Ricky Godowns, David Rabun, and Steven Sheram. Memorials may be made to: Walden U.M.C.
