- Because of a reporter's error, a story in Wednesday's editions of The Augusta Chronicle about the arrest of a local Republican Party treasurer incorrectly stated which senator the treasurer had worked for. It should have stated that Virginia Allen worked for U.S. Senator Jim DeMint on his 2004 Senate campaign. The Chronicle regrets the error.
