MY FAMILY HAS LIVED in our house since 1982 and as of now any and all equity we built into for our retirement is totally gone. The reason is the greed of the Columbia County commission who is willing to allow business to build adjacent to established family developments.

The R&R are lame today so how about a Holiday wish list for Augusta...first the total destruction of the james brown arena(perhaps it could implode)causing as little mess as possible and leaving a great space to build something that functions. Anybody got a second wish?

SMHwhat have you in the past put this must effort into writing on or protesting the senseless killing of a police officer or fireman just trying to do their job? This man was not only a criminal but by the looks of it fast becoming a career criminal who cared not one whit for his family...If he had this outcome might have been dramatically different...The police officers he tried to kill at least get to live another day no thanks to this person or to the mob actions that were certainly meant to harm the officers and firemen who were trying to do their jobs so they could return safely to their families...None of this makes any sort of sense to you does it SMHwhat?
for the easily confused, the first rant didn't blame Carter for the actions of the local thugs, just the unintended consequences of the "one size fits all" education system instituted when Carter felt we needed a secretary of education.

SMH, so now the truth comes out. One of your family members was a ciminal who was killed in the comission of a crime. Now you are mad at the cops. The video from the Johnson incident plainly showed him attempting to run over the deputies. And since you were not a witness to the Cherry Tree incident, how are you able to tell us what happened. I think we can all trust the news media more than you.

If you want readers to understand or even attempt to read your posts, please type them in Word first. Run the spelling and grammer check, then copy and paste to this forum. Your posts do nothing to help your cause but rather validate the stereotype and opinion that those who are opposed to the police and/or defending the actions of criminals are nothing more then unintelligent and uneducated.

I no longer feel safe where I live and I supposedly live in a good area here on the hill.. there has been 4 break ins in less than 3 weeks. I was advice by another tenant to get a gun but I am just not sure.. So instead I got a wrecker bar and 2 bats. In addition to that I am always aware of my surrounding and when my dog barks I listen. Unfortunately, the economy is not getting better and the more people lose their job the more break ins and assaults will occur.. In this case where I live, they are low life teenage thugs that have been harassing this area.. We call the police and nothing they keep coming back. Yesterday however I saw their face.. I am scared because they saw me and know where I live.. there are no more safe areas to live..
Mob mentality is not justified...In the past years of my life I have most certainly not agreed with some of the police actions but I have never been apart of a mob who just forgot all sense of what it means to be civilized...My son is a Fire Fighter and as such you and your mob mentally deficient people should be prosecuted and/or jailed for trying to harm a fellow firefighter...He and his fellow firefighters as well as the police do not deserve to be harmed for simply trying to perform their duties...For crying out loud SMHwhat they were protecting your families as well as themselves from a man who cared not if you as well as others lived or died...

pls i am a repo agent i don't have to steal anything and i have lotta cop friends so you can save the talk about me being on anything stolen..i live and eat good and you never ever heard me say anything about bush and what he's doing.because it did'nt change the way that i am living... pay your bills and not get over your head
LadyC, do as I do and when I see someone who does not belong to the area I live in I take a picture of them and save it in a file with the date and time. That way if something happens near that time I can give the photo to the police. I let the people see me taking pictures and they usually don't come back.
First smart thing that you said SMH to many people live beyond their means and then want help later on PAY YOUR BILLS or try to work out something most of them do!!
tell news 28 of those charges he has is disorderly conduct. for hanging at that store when the police ask u to leave report the truth i don't even live down there and wanted to know the truth the newspaper and the police will make u look bad.

I don't believe for one minute that SMHwhatanidiotheis does car repos. I have known several people in that field, all of which have worked very closely and respectfully with law enforcement, for their own protection, to perform their job. The same thugs he is defending on this board are the ones a person in that profession experience the most difficulty and need the most law enforcement protection from. If this is his profession, it must be for some mom / pop buy here pay here car lot, certainly not a legitimate bank lender.

SMH, maybe if you stopped believing that everyone of your race is innocent just because of their race, you could see how things really are. Criminals are just that, no matter whether they are red, green or purple. You should be concerned with PROTECTING those people in CTC from the SCUM that steal SUVs, and sell drugs, which, according to the GBI were found in the vehicle. Where is your outrage that the man had a child in the vehicle, as you claim? Where is your outrage that the residents of CTC tried to destroy that which you help pay for? where is your outrage that the man stole an SUV, or was selling drugs? Are you going to claim that the GBI is crooked, One of the cops was black, so i guess he's just an Uncle Tom, right? You are just plain wrong on this one.
