MARTINEZ, Ga. - Olaf C. Holz-Meister (O.C.), 77, entered into rest on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the Georgia War Veterans Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Platt's Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel. Interment will be private. Mr. Holz-Meister was retired from the United States Army. He served in the Korean War from 1951 until 1952 and in the Vietnam War from 1967 until 1968. Mr. Holz-Meister was a real estate agent, a member of Pinetucky Gun Club, and an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his loving wife, June Holz-Meister; one son, Steven Holz-Meister (Ann) of Salisbury, NC; four daughters, June Olette (Dean) of Denver, CO, Lois Edwards (Ricky) of Evans, GA., Kay Wells (David) of Slidell, LA, Holly Fenimore (Fred) of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren, Scott Holz-Meister (Sara), Markus Holz-Meister, Misty Edwards Marshall (Jason), Brenton Edwards, Zachary Wells, Kaylin Wells, Sam Fenimore, Heidi Fenimore; and one great grandchild, Mia Grace Holz-Meister.
