MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Heartland Hospice, Mrs. Jillian Berry Adair, 74, wife of 54 years to Jimmie J.B. Adair. Jill was a native of London, England and had resided in Martinez for the past 32 years. She was a homemaker, a member of H2U at Doctors Hospital and an Episcopalian. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a great sense of humor. Jill will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Family members in addition to her husband include her daughter: Leslie K. Piscopo and husband, Joseph of Rapid City, SD; son: Steven D. Adair and wife Karen of Raeford, NC; brothers: Robert Berry, Jimmy Berry, Erwin Berry; sisters: Vicky Rogers and Adelle Pratt all of England; grandchildren: Cristine Bishop, Kimberly Henschel, Andrea Lathrop, Nicholas Adair, Seth Williams, Rachel Runnells, Brody Bagnard and three great-grandchildren: Kevin Sheppard, Heather Adair, Harlie Runnells. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Stephen Russ officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday.
