IF TAXPAYER MONEY is used to bail out the big three autos, when can I expect my new free car?

AS A REGULAR ATTENDEE of the Augusta Commission meetings, I'm disappointed by the lack or shallow participation by some of the commissioners during discussions on issues prior to voting. I usually read the total agenda for the commission meeting the week prior to the meeting. It's posted online at the augusta.gov Web site. It's evident from listening to the discussions that some of the commissioners aren't doing their homework.

RAVE TO THE FORT GORDON Dinner Theater for a splendid show. You continue to impress and please your patrons.

RANTS TO THE DEVELOPERS and builders in Columbia County. Guess they won't be happy until every tree is gone.

RANT TO THE PEOPLE handing out Halloween candy at the Columbia County Christmas Parade. If you can't afford to give out Christmas candy, please don't give any out.

IT WAS AWESOME to see the sweet townhome on the front of the Homes section of the paper Nov. 23. I thought the pictures were great, the quotes enlightening, and it was such a good witness to faith.

I AM AGAINST building a baseball stadium downtown. I went to a game at Lake Olmstead, and during that game the announcer announced the crowd at the game was just over five thousand, the largest crowd this year. The free parking at Lake Olmstead is great. Please, no downtown stadium.

HERE I AM SITTING here worrying about where my grandchild is. He goes to Langford Middle School. School lets out at 4 p.m. It's 6 p.m., and he's not home. When does it take a bus two hours to come home from school?

MY RANT IS TO ALL the people who gripe and complain about everything that goes on in the world. Smile that you are alive. Be thankful that you are here to see your friends again.

IF THE PEOPLE WHO GET angry when they read Rants & Raves would look at it as if it were a comic strip, it would be much better for their health. It's hilarious, some of this stuff.
