AUGUSTA, Ga. - Charles Royal "Charlie" Flynn Jr. of Hensley Road in Augusta died Thursday, December 11, 2008. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Homes, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will follow at Hephzibah-Vance Memorial Park. Charlie is survived by his daughters, Casey Byrd, Tiffany Martin, and Chelsea Flynn, all of Augusta; his parents, Charles Royal Flynn Sr., and Delta A. Swanson Flynn, of Augusta; his sister and brother- in-law, Joy and Joe Kowalewski, of Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia; grandchildren, Christian Byrd and Jaycee Kingsley; a niece and nephew, Ashton and Zane Kowalewski; several aunts and uncles. Charlie attended Hephzibah High School and was a member of the Ft. Gordon Soccer League.
