WHITE OAK, Ga. - Anthony Lee Lackey, 49, of White Oak, died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems, Camden Campus. He was born January 22, 1959 in Augusta, and had resided in Camden County for the past 8 years. He was a Master Machinist and made the dies for the fire shields at Nasa for the space shuttles. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Shannon Lackey of White Oak; mother, Jeanette Lackey of Augusta; children, Justin Lackey of White Oak, Joshua Lackey and Carrie Lackey, both of Augusta; sister, Madonna Sharpe of Grovetown and 3 grandchildren. The memorial service will be conducted on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m at The Poteet Funeral Homes Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
