3 men injured during shooting at nightclub

Police are looking for two men who they say were involved in a Saturday morning shooting that wounded three people at a North Augusta nightclub.

Aiken County sheriff's Lt. Troy Elwell said the shooting occurred inside The Spot nightclub at 1080 Womrath Road about 4:30 a.m.

Three people were caught in the gunfire: one grazed along the side of the head by a bullet; a second shot in the thigh; and a third struck in the knee, Lt. Elwell said.

The victims' names were not available Saturday night. Lt. Elwell said suspects have not been identified. They were described only as black males with dreadlocks. Anyone with information can call (800) 922-9709.

I like that the police use the newspaper to help apprehend the bad guys, but I don't think any of the brothers that hang at The Spot read the paper.

Is that place still open?? Come on Aiken County and North Augusta put that worm hole out of business.

Idiots! Shooting at someone makes you a "real man" doesn't it. NOT!

willistontownsc

The Spot should move down here to Williston. Oh wait, all businesses in Williston closes at 12 midnight due to a dysfunctional councilman not getting his way in a vote during the summer.

Black males with dreadlocks....Hmmm...Yeah, that narrows it down! Could be any NFL player.

Did not realize that clubs in the area are allowed to stay open until after 4:30 am. Uhmmm!!!!

gnumbgnuts

No abc's open after 7:00pm and you can buy practically nothing until 1:30pm on Sundays but clubs are open at this hour? How retarded is that?

FedupwithAUG

A shame a couple of thugs can ruin a good time for everyone.
