Being a cheerful giver to the Lord's work is the best method I have seen to protect financies. In the natural you can't beat a Dave Ramsey course. In investments always go opposite the crowd and in controling health costs use NAET and EFT which are more advanced and cheaper than regular methods. Lastly, listen for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says it is not within man to direct his own path.
