"The Dollhouse was the playhouse of Hope Iselin. It was ordered by the Iselins from a Sears & Roebuck catalog and constructed with nuts and bolts. The structure was one of the first types of modular homes of the early 1900s."
2. What is the Dollhouse used for now?
"It's now the home of the Aiken Garden Club Council and its reference library."
3. Who maintains the Dollhouse?
"The Dollhouse has been restored and maintained by the eight federated garden clubs of Aiken, which include Suburban Garden Club, Green Gardeners, The Garden Club of Aiken, Cereus Gardeners, Country Gardeners, Garden Makers, Sunshine Garden Club and Wildwood Garden Club."
4. How will the Dollhouse be decorated this year during Christmas in Hopelands?
"Winter Wonderland is this year's theme for the annual Dollhouse exhibit. The Winter Wonderland theme revolves around many of the recreational pursuits of winter."

"There is no charge for admission to either Christmas in Hopelands or the Dollhouse. The events will run (through) Dec. 27."
