NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Entered into rest Thursday, December 11th, 2008, Mr. Billy J. Ruth, 65, of North Augusta, SC, beloved husband of thirty-three years to Gloria Ruth and son of the late John Raymond Hardey Ruth and Bell Robinson. Born in Hampton, SC, he had been an area resident most of his life. Prior to his retirement he was a Cabinet Maker with Cowart Cabinets. Billy enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, and cooking. Additional family members include, children, Jay Ruth, Hampton, SC, Lynn Kea, Hampton, SC, Lori Banks, Clearwater, SC, and Lisa Justice, (Randy) Clearwater, SC; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In accordance with his wishes, Billy will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 13th, 2008, at 11 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Roland Smith officiating.
