AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at University Hospital, Mrs. Daniza L. Thompson, 88. Mrs. Thompson was a native of Belgrade Yugoslavia and has lived in the Augusta are for the last 58 years. She was retired as an OBGYN nurse and was a member of The Church of the Most Holy Trinity catholic church. Family members include daughters: Daniza (Donna) Saxon and husband Sam of Martinez, GA, Svetlana Gerhardt of Augusta, GA; grandchildren: Larry Anthony Peebles, Jr. and wife Lisa of Augusta, GA, Richard Webb of Martinez, GA, John Thomas Gerhardt of Augusta, GA, Sarah Beth Bailey and husband Shawn of Newborn, GA; 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Lubinisky officiating.
