A Grovetown woman was killed Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash. Kenyatta Mary Francis, 24, was pronounced dead at 9:30, said Columbia County Assistant Coroner Bonnie Holloway.

Ms. Francis was driving north on Baker Place Road when her 1993 Lincoln Town Car left the wet road, struck a guard rail and flipped near Interstate 20, said Columbia County sheriff's Capt. Bill Probus.

Ms. Francis, who was not wearing a seat belt, was killed when she was ejected from the car and it landed on top of her, Mrs. Holloway said.

Kenyatta you will be missed. I love you and your three angels.God will be with your angels. The Home Depot will still have a part of you here with us. The year that i have known you have been great all of the laughs the smiles and everyone calling you lil moma. I am very sad to loose someone so special. Me, you tisha, and alisha was the top clean up crew when the store first opened. I was looking forward to seeing you again i kept asking when was you coming back i did not want to find out like this. I have prayed for you and your angels and will continue praying and hope to God that he answer me. Love you always LaToya Moss

I work at the check cashing place where Kenyatta cashed her check. I was so sorry to hear about what had happend. You and your family will be in my prayers. For some reason or another God needed you for something. I know how hard this is for your family, and how hard it will continue to be. Just know that you are in a lot of peoples thoughts and prayers. God bless you and your family.

Thisi s most sad. It could have been avoided. Wear your seat belt, teach your children to wear theirs, insist that all passengers buckle their belts or the car doesn't move. Most sad.
