Emanuel C. Williams (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Emanuel Chain Williams, 59, of Carver Dr., entered into rest on December 3, 2008 at Specialty Select Hospital. Mrs. Emanuel C. Williams was the daughter of the late brother Charlie and Elizabeth Chain and Mrs. Mary Harris. She is survived by two sons, Dwight and J of Augusta; one brother, Robert Reid of New Haven, Conn.; two sisters, Denise Harris of New Haven, Conn., Peggy (William) Shuford of Charlotte, N.C. She was a faithful member of the United House of Prayer for all people. She was blessed with the gift of the Holy Ghost under the leadership of Daddy McCollough. Mrs. Williams was one of the first volunteers to work in the Madison cafeteria. She was also a member of several organizations within the church, flower girl in Daddy Grace era, McCollough Maid, McCollough Special Officers, Madison Young Adult Choir, Happy Singers Group, and a dedicated member of Madison Adult Ushers. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008 at The United House Of Prayer For all People (Wrightsboro Rd.) at 7 p.m. Burial will follow on Tuesday December 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. Peoples Funeral Home, 723 Walton Way.
