AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Cary Kyler, 39, of 954 14th Ave., entered into rest on Wednesday, November 25, 2008 at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital. Funeral services will be held this Friday, December 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. at City of Refuge Church with Pastor Sullivan Bush officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be today from 2 to 7 p.m. at C.A. Reid, Sr. Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Kyler was a 1988 graduate of Lucy Laney High School and was currently working at Sherwin Williams Paint Company, where he was an operations manager. Cary was a faithful member of City of Refuge Church, where he was an active Deacon, Trustee, Choir Member, and he also helped out with youths. He served three years in the United States Marines. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted mother, Alvenia Kyler; his father, Willie Kyler, both of Augusta; three sisters, Sonya (Maurice) Dent of Evans, Karen Kyler, and Lisa Proctor, both of Augusta; three brothers, Derrick Kyler of Hephzibah, Frederick (Bettina) Kyler of North Augusta, and Gregory Kyler of Baltimore, Md.; his maternal grandmother, Rosa Gibson; five nephews, three nieces, and a host of aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
