AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Stanley B. Alvin, 45, of Miledge Road, entered into rest Monday, December 1, 2008 at his residence. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Alvin, a native of Chatham County, was a member of Mims Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Alvin; a son, Stanley B. Alvin, Jr., North Augusta; his father, James B. Alvin, Savannah, Ga.; three brothers, Gregory Alvin, Savannah, Sean Alvin, North Augusta, and Christopher (Pam) Pray, Augusta; three sisters, Elaine Alvin, Savannah, Stephanie (Robert, Jr.) Hood and Eyvonne Pray, North Augusta; a host of other relatives and friends.
