AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. John H. Verdree of Chestnut Street, entered into rest Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at University Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are two sons, Vernon Verdree, New York, Vinson Verdree, Augusta; two daughters, Pamela Verdree, Shawn Verdree, New York; five sisters, Emma Howard, Clara Chance, Sarah Saunders, Veronica Avig, all of Augusta, Ga., Ardeen Smith, New York; two grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
