CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Tony White Jr. made two free throws with 3.4 seconds to play in overtime to lift the College of Charleston to an 82-80 victory over South Carolina on Friday night.

The win was Charleston's second over the Gamecocks in 29 tries and the first since 1930.

White led Charleston (5-1) with 21 points while Andrew Goudelock added 20.

Devan Downey led the Gamecocks (4-1) with 22 points.

With the score tied at 80, Downey missed a driving layup and Charleston rebounded with 23 seconds to play.

Charleston worked for the last shot, with White driving to the basket and drawing a foul from Zam Fredrick with 3.4 seconds left.

South Carolina led 25-12 midway through the first half, by 11 points with 6:49 left and 76-74 with 11.7 seconds on the clock. Goudelock tied the score with 2.7 seconds remaining to force overtime.

CLEMSON 79, PRESBYTERIAN 58

In Clemson, S.C., Trevor Booker scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead undefeated Clemson over Presbyterian.

Terrence Oglesby contributed 12 points, Jerai Grant had 11 and Raymond Sykes added 10 for the Tigers (7-0).

Al'Lonzo Coleman led Presbyterian (1-4) with 18 points. Bryan Bostic added 17 for the Blue Hose.

Clemson held double-digit leads for all but a few seconds of the second half, and led by as much as 73-49 on K.C. Rivers' tip with 5:29 left. Dominating the lane, Booker made 11 of 16 shots.

GEORGIA TECH 79, JACKSONVILLE 76

In Atlanta, Alade Aminu scored 19 points and Gani Lawal had 15 points with 12 rebounds to help Georgia Tech hold off Jacksonville's late charge.

Ben Smith's 30 points led Jacksonville, which went on a 33-13 run to trail 77-74 with 40.8 seconds remaining, but his effort wasn't enough to keep the Dolphins (0-5) from avoiding their worst start since 1996-97.

Georgia Tech (4-0) had two 23-point leads, the second coming on Lawal's dunk with 1 minute left in the first half.
