MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest November 27, 2008 at her residence, Mrs. Marion Mildred Sakata, 74, wife of Mr. George Sakata. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 1, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Abilene Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Harrell, officiating. Mrs. Sakata was born in Indianapolis, Ind. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include: four daughters, Allison Sakata, Stephanie Sakata, Stacy Sakata Delph and husband, Gene, Shelley Pound; two sons, Gentry Sakata, Greg Sakata; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
