WARRENTON, Ga. - Mrs. Louise L. Murphey, 93, widow of Mr. John Murphey, of East Warrenton Road died Sunday, November 23, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 28, in the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Dunaway and Rev. Bill Seaman officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Murphey was a native of Philadelphia P.A., but had lived in Warrenton for many years. She graduated from Aiken High School in 1931. Mrs. Murphey was a homemaker and a member of Little Briar Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her three daughters, Dixie Wiederanders, Jacqueline Zets, and Thora Peebles, all of Warrenton, GA; one son, Terry Murphey, Dearing, GA; a brother, Frank Landrum, Newport News, VA; 4 grandchildren; 1 great- grandchild. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday mourning at Little Briar Creek Baptist Church.
