Frank Leonard Browne (WAYNESBORO, Ga.)

WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Frank Leonard Browne, age 80, entered into rest on Nov. 21, 2008 at Golden Living Windemere, Augusta, GA after a lengthy illness with cancer. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Griffin Browne, the son of the late Irene & Roy Browne and was a native of East St. Louis, Illinois. Mr. Browne had worked as commercial and residential brick salesman with General Shale Brick Company for many years and had been a faithful volunteer of the Meals on Wheels program when he and Mrs. Browne lived in Florida. A service of remembrance will be conducted on Saturday morning, December 6, 2008, 10:00 AM, from Reiss Chapel at Lake View Memorial Gardens, 5000 N. Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208 with Rev. Larry Patton officiating and, after which, Mr. & Mrs. Browne will be inurned together. Mr. Browne is survived by his four sons, Dennis Browne of Auburn, Maine, Paul and his wife Gayle Browne of Waynesboro, GA, Kevin and his wife Debbie Browne of Titusville, Florida and Jeff and his wife Connie Browne of Calhoun, GA. Mr. Browne is additionally survived by one sister, Helen Kahre, St. Peters, Missouri and one brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Jennifer Browne, San Diego, California. Mr. Browne is additionally survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Mr. Browne was also predeceased by one son, David Browne, two brothers Jack & Claude Browne, and one sister Connie Moscardelli.
